Corporate Services

We provide our client base with a wide variety of first-class Corporate Services.

Our Corporate Services can dovetail with our Private Client Services. For example, a structure that has been established for a private client may require a corporate vehicle to hold a particular private equity investment.

However, our Corporate Services can also be utilised as a standalone offering for a variety of reasons, including holding assets off balance sheet, establishing a holding Company for a trading company, and many other reasons.

Company Formation and Administration Services

BOW is able to establish Companies and administer Companies from most reputable international jurisdictions.

BOW provides Corporate Administration, Company Secretarial and Accounting services to Companies that it acts as Director of.

The reasons for using a corporate vehicle can be varied, but some of the most common uses include:

    • Property holding
    • Alternative asset holdings
    • Private trust companies
    • Owning portfolios of tradable securities
    • Holding partnership interests
    • Holding private equity interests

Partnerships

BOW is able to establish partnerships and form Companies and Trusts to act as either equity partners or managing partners for Partnerships in many different jurisdictions.

Guernsey law allows for the establishment of Limited Liability Partnerships (“LLP’s”) and Limited Partnerships (“LP’s”).

Both LLP’s and LP’s are commonplace in private equity arrangements principally due to their flexibility but also due to their tax transparency which ensures that it is the partners who are taxed rather than the partnership itself.

Partnerships can also be an effective form of estate planning and a family partnership can be a useful alternative to a Trust arrangement when properly drafted.
